Austin has become a transient city, meaning we often serve couples from out-of-state. However, with Matt and Margaret, we were thrilled to celebrate a couple that calls Austin home and to create a bold, Americana-inspired wedding for them at Gruene Estate.

Margaret: “Sydney, Thank you for everything! Wow! We had the exact wedding we wanted to have, all because of your thoughtful guidance. I especially admire and appreciate your calm and patience and your ability to remain unruffled! You seem to really take time before reacting to things. It was a dream working with you these past few months and I’m honestly sad our time together is over. ¡Mil gracias!”
Matt: “Sydney was extraordinary from beginning to end. She is calm, professional, creative and thoughtful and extremely well connected to the vendor community that supports weddings. She was instrumental in helping us source vendors and – where we had our own – just as willing, able and professional in working with those we had selected. She was extremely organized throughout – her checklists kept everything running smoothly. She was easy to talk with and helped us mull things over – a great facilitator and diplomat! – and she was extremely available to us whenever we needed her. She was always ready to hop into the car and drive to meet a vendor or see us face to face. Her taste aligned very well with ours but I think that this is more her ability to read us as a couple and get a sense of what we were seeking more than having a fixed point of view that just happened to be similar to our own. She was the best thing we did to make our wedding a success!”
Matt and Margaret were such a fun couple to work with – their creative ideas stopped at nothing and it was a pleasure to harness those thoughts and turn them into something truly beautiful. Congrats, M&M!
