As an Austin wedding planner, I have planned my fair share of beautiful weddings. However, some weddings are so packed with unique, personal touches that they leave a lasting impression on everyone who attends. Jessica and Mason’s wedding at Prospect House in the Texas Hill Country was one of those unforgettable days. From a spiral ceremony seating arrangement to an owl delivering their rings, this wedding broke the mold in all the best ways.
Hi, I’m Sydney Meyer, founder of In Ink Weddings. I specialize in creating weddings that are anything but ordinary. Celebrations that reflect your personality, love story, and every quirky, creative detail that makes your relationship unique. Jessica and Mason’s wedding was a dream to be a part of! It’s the perfect example of how to turn a vision into reality.
Jessica and Mason’s wedding at Prospect House is brimming with inspiration. If you’re dreaming of a wedding full of bold details and meaningful moments, look no further. Let’s take a closer look at their incredible celebration!

A Ceremony to Remember
Jessica and Mason wanted a ceremony that brought their guests together—literally. So instead of traditional rows, they opted for a spiral seating arrangement that placed them at the center of their loved ones.
The spiral seating wasn’t just a design choice—it represented their commitment to unity and connection. Therefore, guests were able to witness every moment of the ceremony from an up-close perspective, creating an intimate and heartfelt atmosphere.
This unique setup created an intimate atmosphere that brought everyone closer. Beyond that, it also led to a memorable recessional moment where the couple high-fived their guests as they walked back through the spiral. Laughter, cheers, and a sense of togetherness filled the air, setting the tone for the joyful celebration to come.
And the showstopper of their ceremony? Their wedding rings were delivered by an owl. Yes, you read that right! The owl swooped in, delivering the rings to the groom—and made for a viral reel that continues to inspire couples! This is a moment their guests will be talking about for years to come!

Reception Highlights: Tattoos, Coffee, and Dance Floor Energy
Jessica and Mason’s reception was a celebration of creativity and fun, reflecting their vibrant personalities. Here are just a few of the standout moments:
- A Tattoo Artist On-Site: Guests were treated to a truly one-of-a-kind experience with a live tattoo artist at the reception. From small designs to meaningful symbols, guests left with permanent reminders of this unforgettable day. At the same time, the tattoos added a personal and daring touch to the celebration. Allowing guests to take home a piece of the experience—literally.

- Custom Coffee Cart: A cozy touch came in the form of a coffee cart from Luna Espresso Cart. Guests loved sipping on artisanal lattes between dances, adding an extra layer of comfort and sophistication to the evening. The coffee cart became a gathering point. Offering everyone a chance to recharge while marveling at the creative ambiance around them.

- Dancing the Night Away: With music by Dart Collective, the dance floor was electric from start to finish. Jessica and Mason’s family and friends brought the energy. Ultimately, creating a reception that felt like the ultimate celebration of love and joy. The playlist was filled with crowd-pleasers and personal favorites that had everyone on their feet.

Thoughtful Decor and Details
For Jessica and Mason’s neo-Tokyo-inspired wedding, I had the incredible opportunity to bring their bold and innovative vision to life (and let me tell you, it was a dream!). The reception featured a sleek black-and-white palette with modern, futuristic accents. Clean lines, geometric shapes, and glass elements created a stylish and contemporary aesthetic that felt like stepping into a futuristic art installation.
Secondly, the tablescapes were one of my favorite elements, blending industrial and artistic vibes in a way that felt effortlessly cool. Black taper candles, (moody and dramatic in all the right ways), sat on top of minimalist settings with transparent glassware and neutral-toned plates, adding depth and sophistication. These elements paired seamlessly with vibrant floral arrangements in bold orange and pink hues. Together, they struck pops of color that balanced the modern design with warmth and vibrancy.
Every detail, from the avant-garde centerpieces to the thoughtfully selected rentals by Moontower Rentals, was meticulously curated to align with Jessica and Mason’s vision. From the big picture down to the smallest touches, everything was designed with intention. The result? A reception space that was both edgy and inviting, a true reflection of their creative personalities, and the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration.

The After Party: Whataburger Run and Karaoke
Jessica and Mason’s celebration didn’t end after the wedding at Prospect House was over. The couple carried their vibrant energy into an unforgettable afterparty.
- Whataburger Pit Stop: After the reception, Jessica and Mason stopped for a late-night snack at Whataburger. It was the perfect way to refuel after hours of dancing and celebrating.

- Karaoke at Ego’s: After Whataburger, the party moved to Ego’s on South Congress for karaoke. The newlyweds and guests took turns serenading the crowd until the night ended. The afterparty was the perfect way to wind down the night while staying true to Jessica and Mason’s fun-loving personalities. It was yet another way they made their wedding day uniquely their own.
