The desire for a smaller, intimate wedding venue is trending in the Austin area. Lucky for you, we found the perfect spot and hosted an open house at the stunning One Eleven East in Hutto, TX. We’re here to share the seats!
Tell me more about this intimate wedding venue.
– We LOVE the white, blank canvas that the venue boasts and its original wooden floors, doors, and windows. Bold, bright colors are sizzling right now and you can certainly make a statement within these walls.
– The venue is a quick 30 minutes north of the AUS airport and downtown Austin. Destination weddings sure have become popular here; your guests are guaranteed to be entertained during their time in the South.
– One Eleven can host up to 150 guests and provides wooden farm tables and chairs to accommodate them.
Let’s get to the good stuff.
What does it look like to bring a wedding to life in the space? Riley Glenn Photography will show us.
In Ink Weddings tackled this open house from two different color pallet angles so you can dream of the unlimited possibilities for your day. Let’s start off in the main room/reception.
Yellows, greens, creams, oh my! When you show a design board to our florist, Perry’s Petals, and decor rentals, Meek and Wild, they always know how to bring your vision to life. I love the splashes of color against the white, brick walls that make every flower, table, and decor piece pop. Feathers & Frosting dosed the dessert table with shooters, cookies, and an elegant vanilla-frosted cake. Let’s not forget about the savory – Peached Tortilla kept tummies happy with delicious bite-sized eats.
Next up is the adjacent skylight room. We’re transitioning over to blues and oranges in a space where ceremonies are traditionally held and later transitioned into a dance floor. Pop and Drop created a fun, colorful garland display that lifted the vaulted sealings and Austin Event Lighting illuminated the space with amber uplights.
Outside in front of the ceremony windows, you’ll find a doorway leading to an intimate patio perfect for cocktail hour and lounging once you need a break from dancing. Lonestar Drafts kept us hydrated (wink) with French 75s and Mimosas while Cruz Collective had the tunes flowing.
And of course, let’s not forget about the fun add-ons! Bootheasy and Oh Happy Day displayed photobooths and had (SO) many backgrounds for us to choose from to bring the day together. Texas Pressed Flowers also showed us how you can preserve your beautiful bouquet after the wedding for years to keep.
