How did you two meet?

Lane and I met in high school and dated throughout but more than anything we established a friendship. After high school we went our separate ways but still kept in touch from time to time. There was just something that kept telling us both that we would end up together one day, and we did!

Why did you choose Two Wishes Ranch?

Call it what you will but finding Two Wishes was total fate. Because of our time crunch finding a venue needed to be decided on rather quickly after getting engaged and honestly when talking with venues it felt like they had all been booked years in advance. I remember feeling really discouraged and mindlessly scrolling through Instagram when coming across a post from Two Wishes. I had just so happened to have followed them years ago when I was imagining what my wedding might one day look like. I decided to reach out to see if they had any availability and luckily after that everything just fell into place.

Tell us more about your wedding style and theme.

I wanted our wedding day to be timeless and simple elegance. Something we would be able to look back on 30 years from now and still like the decisions we made.

What was the inspiration behind the colors you chose for your wedding?

My Pinterest wedding board, dating all the way back to its start in 2014, was always filled with wedding colors that were primarily white and black with accents of gold. I love how fresh the white florals made our venue feel and with our venue being a black building I felt that it all tied together nicely.

What were you struggling with when it came to finding a wedding planner for your wedding?

Honestly the time I spent contemplating if we needed a wedding planner or not. I wish I would have found Sydney even sooner than I did!

Why did you decide to work with our company?

After looking at the In Ink website and learning more about Sydney it just felt like the right choice. I am so glad we went with Sydney I felt like her personality and professionalism stands out in the wedding industry. Having someone who is an expert to help you along the way! The wedding industry is huge and can easily and quickly become overwhelming when you are trying to find vendors and plan everything on your own. Having Sydney just made everything so much easier and more enjoyable.

What was your least favorite part of the planning process?

There are a lot of decisions that have to be made when planning a wedding and after the first 50 those decisions become a little less fun. Having Sydney eliminated a lot of the overthinking that went into those decisions making them easier to make.

What were some meaningful touches you incorporated into your wedding at Two Wishes Ranch?

Family is huge for both Lane and I so it meant a lot to be able to incorporate so many of our family members into the day. My Uncle even got his license to be able to officiate our wedding!

Another special moment from our wedding was the first look. It is easy to get caught up in the nerves of the day but having that time prior to our ceremony to be able to just check-in with one another (and to get some cute pictures) allowed for me to feel so calm going into the ceremony. It also didn’t take away from the walk down the aisle/ceremony at all!

What has stood out to you about our work together?

I never doubted Sydney or felt that something would fall through the cracks. Sydney’s method for tracking all of our details and our check-ins made me feel confident that our wedding day would be perfect.

What would you say to someone thinking about hiring us as their wedding planner?

Do it! Your wedding day isn’t the day to make sure everything happens. Or even leading up to the wedding! Sydney is there every step of the way! With her different packages, it also allows for you to choose which option works best for your wedding day!

What was your favorite moment from your wedding day at Two Wishes Ranch?

Aside from getting to marry my best friend, it was to look around and see all of our friends and family gathered to celebrate the start of our marriage!
